Ice Cream Substitute!
So this Sunday I really amped up my diet. I am using My Fitness Pal which is great because they have a free Droid app. The website calculates how many calories and nutrients you should get in a day to lose a certain amount of weight. I have mine set on 1.5 pounds a week, though in 5 days I have already lost that amount…even though two days I went over on calories!
Anyways, since having my girls I have developed a sweet tooth and have recently enjoyed ice cream almost daily.
So I came up with this great substitute for my ice cream cravings!
1/2 cup dannon greek yogurt vanilla (if plain greek yogurt, add some vanilla extract)
1/4 cup skim milk ricotta cheese
2tsp brown sugar
Viola! Super delicious and satisfies my sweet tooth….plus it’s a lot healthier!
