It’s been a long time, blissful mamas. I’ve left this space open for those seeking relactation advice, who resonated with talking to your children about racism, and the yummy recipes and bits and bobs in between.
Meanwhile, I welcomed my 4th baby, a boy, in October 2020. My life changed forever when an hour after his birth I was rushed into the OR for an emergency hysterectomy that would save my life—a story soon to come.
In the months that followed I was in mourning over the unplanned total loss of my fertility, I was absorbing myself in my last little one. All of his firsts have also been my lasts. Something that brought me great joy was buying adorable baby clothes for him…
Then one day I thought—why not open my own baby boutique?
And that’s exactly what I did! In January 2021 I began googling “how the heck do you open your own baby store?!” and by June Four Little Palms was open for business!
Since opening the shop, I struggled with what to do with this space. Do people still read blogs anymore? Is anybody out there? Analytics tells me that this space is still helpful to moms, so after a lot of thought and reflection I’ve decided to keep Blissfully Mommy open as a place to continue sharing with you my journey of motherhood.
Thanks for reading and thanks for being here!
Blissfully Mommy
Hi there, I’m Tina and I created Blissfully Mommy as a place to share and celebrate the ups and downs of motherhood. In between those dirty diaper moments i’ve learned to find bliss in the little things like a yummy recipe, easy style tips, or a Pinterest binge! I hope this blog inspires you to cultivate your own version of mommy bliss.
